West Facing Balcony Garden Tips
If you are thinking about placing plants on your west facing balcony, you have two main choices. You can either grow your own plants, purchase plants from a local nursery or plant flowers that you would find in a local flower shop. However, if you want your plants to have shady areas during the evening hours, you’ll want to plant your balcony garden in full sun. If you want to enjoy your balcony garden without any problems, you should place your balcony furniture in direct sun during the day and then move it to shade from morning until nighttime.

If you have ever noticed these plants’ leaves turning purple during the night, this is because they are getting a lot of sunlight during the day. These plants will do best if you grow them in a southern exposure.
