Our next choice was a mix of ferns and evergreens. I had planted both ferns and evergreens in my other apartment gardens but it was time to expand. I chose plants like hydrangeas, gardenia, catkins, and fruit trees. I also put in a small section of black onyx trees. All you need is a little creativity and some patience. I started with plants that do not need much attention from you and tried to build up a small collection of plants.

I did not include any trees in my apartment gardens because they take up a lot of room and do not do much for your apartment.
