26cm Plant Pot – A Great Container For Your Kitchen
One of the first pots to catch my attention when I was in the market for new potting material is a 26cm container garden pot. A friend asked me about it and I decided to go online and see what all the fuss was about. A few things caught my eye, but overall I was really impressed with the quality, craftsmanship, durability and affordability of the pots. I have grown up using plastic containers from the local supermarket and now am switching to container gardening.
The reason why I switched was due to the fact that plastic felt uncomfortable to hold when it was hot in the summer months and stony during winter months. I also did not like the fact that I could not keep plants out of the sun and had no choice but to put them in a greenhouse or dry out the container and then replace the pots. Having the ability to have a constant temperature and avoid the problems associated with plastic made potting so much easier.
I am now happily in my thirties and have been container gardening for more than ten years. I have tried many different types of pots and they are very affordable. The nice thing is that I can easily grow vegetables in them too without having to buy seed just to have some at the back of my mind. I do have a large number of plants that I need to look after so buying a cheap one not only meant I was saving money, but I saved on shipping costs.
The other thing I liked was the fact that I didn’t have to spend hours trying to position my plants for them to look good. I know that when I started out I was very picky and this took a lot of time. It is also nice when you are growing plants that you can move them around easily. You don’t want to be stuck in one spot for six months. Sometimes I will move the plant to another small pot if it doesn’t look as good in the one that I have placed it in.
I had two problems with the design of my pots. The first problem was that the leaves on the plant were touching the sides of the pot which didn’t let much air circulate around the roots. I also found it difficult to get all of the leaves off when I had to water. On top of that, the roots in the lower pot were freezing and it was causing my plants to wilt. I solved these problems by taking out the leaves and exposing the lower pot to air.
I did, however, find that my plants are getting more than enough sunlight and I have no problem with their leaves blocking up. My plants are also receiving plenty of nutrients from the soil, I have chosen to plant them in. I would recommend this type of container for anyone who wants to grow a few plants but is not keen on growing them indoors. It is a great way to give them a bit of a trial run before you commit to a bigger space.
It has enabled me to be able to plant vegetables in areas where I wouldn’t normally have thought of planting them. In fact, I find that I now have vegetables growing in front of my window, next to my herbs. The container garden idea is great if you want to grow a small garden, not very tall, and it is ideal for areas where space is limited. It can even save you money if you don’t like the idea of having a large herb garden. Instead, you can just use the extra space for something else. It’s a great solution for people who have enough land but who don’t want an overly tall garden.
The container garden idea has worked really well for me. However, I would not recommend it for someone who has a very large garden space. If you are looking for a small and simple way to grow a few plants, then I would suggest going with the rectangular plan. This allows you to grow smaller, delicate plants and they don’t have to compete with each other. If you enjoy having your own vegetables and herbs in a clean area then the container garden is perfect. Plus, it’s so easy to organize!
